The Draft " Experts " & how they didn't watch film on Watson

May 7, 2017, 2:27 AM

Out of all the videos on published on Watson, this one shows off his deep ball accuracy. So many times he connects with his receivers deep. Stands in the pocket and delivers the throw with velocity.
A lot of credit has been given to Watson for his shredding of Alabama's defense in two national title games. However, regardless if he starts, sits, whichever, the deep ball accuracy and velocity argument was as stupid as I had ever heard. Sure, he overthrew receivers sometimes. However, receivers ( even Williams ) will admit that they missed, dropped a ball or got out of their route. To try to say this is a mark against Watson is ludacris. How will he transition to the NFL? We'll all see. He has everything he needs to be a star in the League. The case has been closed though on the argument on Watson's deep ball accuracy and velocity.

Tried to pick him with what little film they did see, picked Pitt game and FSU game to point out, not even considering a 32-3 winning record that they could have taken more time to comb over.

Just my take

Watson delivering from the pocket, every time when it counted, to win.
