Talking about airports...

I've been to a bunch of the major airports, but until last Thursday, had never been to Miami.
Is Miami the chittiest, nastiest airport for a large city, or is there possibly some worse?

place down. It reminded me of downtown Columbia..SC. It was like the aviation equivalent of Two Notch Road.
And I was expecting the Koobans and Spanish...but whats with all the Russians?

It was either there or Philadelphia where you had to be shuttled in a van out to the actual terminal. And it was really, really fuggin cold.

Their Marine Air Terminal is kind of a neat relic.

I think Vegas is really bad too, especially when you're hungover AF flying back on a Sunday.

I just took a job in Minneapolis that's 50% travel. Moving up there from SC is gonna suck, but at least I get to fly out of an awesome airport.

I'm not a fan of either of them.
Worst of all Big airports is DFW.

ORD and DFW are just too d@mn big....
FRA and AMS (Frankfurt and Amsterdam) are my favorites, especially if you have access to the Luftansa Senator lounge.

Newark is terrible, but to me, Kansas City is just the worst.
It built in a way that could never accommodate post-9/11 security, so all of the gates are overcrowded, with zero access to restaurants or a decent place to sit.
These are the gates at KCI:

I meant just outright cleanliness. I never made it out of the terminal at MIA. I had to fly from Nashville to MIA, then MIA to CHS. I got off the plane, went to the bathroom at MIA, wanted to shower, got back on the same plane 30 minutes later, and flew home.

Now they just have the world's most unnecessary monorail. You have to go up a flight just to catch the thing and then walk back down, all just to save yourself a 3-4 minute walk.

DEN (Denver) is most frustrating... but OK once past security.
I like SW terminals at MDW, HOU (Hobby) & DAL (Love) for business.
Southwest Florida terminals TPA, SRQ and RSW ( Ft Myers / Regional Southwest) are nice.

poorly designed and too big? Maybe.
But not "someone chit on the floor in the men's room and it appears to have been there for a few hours" nasty like MIA.

I flew Hong Kong, Heathrow, Baltimore, Detroit. Saw my family and then rerouted myself to Greenville via Reagan. It’s a messed up life.
