students to be able to have a place to come together in remembrance of the loss, and also a quiet place to go when the anxiety of college life becomes too much.

If they would add a columbarium to the chapel, I know

several people would pay up to $10,000 for a space to hold their ashes. Seriously. You could raise a lot of money. Great place to spend eternity!

I definitely sing like I type. Earplugs are a must!

I also have no idea what a columbarium is but if it means I get to spend eternity overlooking Death Valley put me all in!

Nope. I'd rather my ashes be spread on DV where the Tigers roam. Love the sentiment.??

Under Dabo I don't think we will lose enough games to warrant building a chapel to mourn a loss.

I hope the Chapel design will support prayer, as well as reflection and meditation. The BOT media release may require political correctness, but prayer should be included as its exclusion would suggest many student's wishes were not included. Diversity is a two way street, right?

Even with the push to make "top 20", this failed to get past the idea stage for the last 15-20 (or more) years. I'm glad that they are going forward with it.
