I think moving OhSt into number 1 could be an ESPN shot at B1G's decision to cancel/delay/whatever their football season. Sort of a "See what you could have had?"

Ohio State is tough and recruits well. But, they don't want any! Not just saying that because this is a Clemson Site, I am a Clemson fan and 0 31 0 St. is 0-4 vs. the Tigers! Some of the intangible guys they lost will be hard to replace(though they do have talent coming back). It won't be enough.
Besides them - nobody else has "less questions" Clemson! OL is about it; but the guys we have have played a bunch of meaningful snaps at often times critical moments of real games!

1 loss definitely isn't eliminating anybody from the playoff* this year. I think an 8-2 playoff team is on the table as well.

It's not like i posted anything offensive and i would be happy to have a legit debate if someone disagrees that an 8-2 team could make the playoff this year in a season where nobody gets to dodge the best teams in their conference and there are no (or very, very few) cupcakes on anyone's schedule.

If memory serves LSU was 3rd at the end of the season last year and we were 4th after our last national championship. I'm not sure what their parameters are but they do not work very well.

Joe Brady is the coordinator for my Carolina Panthers! Unless somehow he leaves and goes to one of these schools in the next few weeks and that school has a QB that's been around for 6 years(exaggeration) then I am not worried about ESPN's "silly billy ranking"!
