from here?
"Continuing to pursue unsubstantiated claims of widespread voter fraud, U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz and some of his fellow GOP senators announced they would vote to reject the certification of Electoral College votes for the presidential election unless an emergency audit is conducted.
In a joint statement released Saturday, Cruz and the other senators cited “unprecedented allegations of voter fraud, violations and lax enforcement of election law” to back their vow to object to the certification vote set for Wednesday. Republican claims of election fraud in swing states have been discredited with election officials and U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr saying there was no evidence of widespread fraud that could have swayed the results of the presidential election.
The senators, led by Cruz, called on the appointment of an Electoral Commission to conduct a 10-day audit of the election results in “disputed states.” The statement does not list which states should be included, nor does it mention any specific cases of fraud.
"We are not naïve. We fully expect most if not all Democrats, and perhaps more than a few Republicans, to vote otherwise,” the statement reads. “But support of election integrity should not be a partisan issue.”
Joining Cruz in issuing the statement were Sens. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, James Lankford of Oklahoma, Steve Daines of Montana, John Kennedy of Louisiana, Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee and Mike Braun of Indiana, along with Sens.-Elect Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming, Roger Marshall of Kansas, Bill Hagerty of Tennessee and Tommy Tuberville of Alabama."

Biden needs to stand aside if he is not willing to prosecute ALL of Trump's enablers and sycophants. I think he will though because he knows how bad the situation really is currently and for the last four years. Treason and/or sedition is criminal and could carry the death penalty and/or a long imprisonment.

"Reuters/Ipsos polling..." not exactly a right wing publication... "tragically, shows that 39% of Americans believe ‘the election was rigged.’ That belief is held by Republicans (67%), Democrats (17%), and Independents (31%)..."
I ran those numbers through a dominion machine so 67% pubs plus 17% dems plus 31% indies equals 115% of Americans by dominion calculations. Of course that included the polling of thousands of dead people, many who are here illegally and hundreds who live in China.
Actually, those numbers really were reported by Reuteer/Ipsos polling. So it's a few more than a handful of maroons like me. I'm guessing the dems and indies who said they believe the election was rigged probably voted for Trump. He had the greatest support of minority voters than any republican in 60 years, or so I've read.

in the House and at least 11 Senators are going or are on record as rejecting the election results and a majority of Republican voters polled think the election was "stolen." If that's not worrisome to you then I'm scared to think about how much further they could go before you would be worried.

My only concern was that they didn't have the hair on their butts to stand up to the fraudsters. I believe that you 'know in your heart that the election was fair.' I understand. If, and I specify if, this turned out to be wrong would it be the first time you were misled by the media?

I recognize that you believe that.

What you should recognize is that ~140 representatives in the US House, a dozen US Senators and the Vice President of the US take the opposite opinion.
So I ask, after investigating Trump for four solid years why does investigating election fraud so upset you, or better asked, what do you think can be done to stop this?

And they found nothing credible. Which is what the media reported. If widespread fraud is found (spoiler alert: it won’t be), then the media will report that too. The only fraud is Trump trying to bully the GA Secretary of State into fabricating results.
You’re a sucker and a moron.

Is because Trump and your fringe right wing media claim it was fraudulent, and you've pretty much admitted you'll blindly believe whatever they say.
Before the election, you said you would accept the results regardless. You lied.

I have watched all the hearings in GA and AZ and I have reviewed every piece of evidence available to the public and have based my opinion on the evidence. You can say what you want but I have seen election and voter fraud on video. I have heard the testimonies of dozens of witnesses which I find credible.
I believe that 140 house members, a dozen or so senators and the VP have too. I believe you will never change your position but will, just as you did when Mueller said 'we found no evidence that any American conspired with Russia,' continue to ignore the obvious.
Will you be watching on Jan 6th to see what happens when the Senate and House join in session or not?

You've provided rumors and conjecture and wild accusations made by people who aren't even running the elections.
You said you would accept the results whatever the results happened to be. You lied. I'll post the link again if you make me.
On Jan. 6th, the votes will confirm Biden as the next president. Which he is. The only reason you still stick to this now is you realize you'll look more foolish if you admit you were wrong. You will harp on this conspiracy for the next four years.
Bet me on that last sentence.

"unprecedented evidence of" would mean more, but they can't say that. This is the same as the House Pubs planned vote. Short term personal political gain by pandering to Trump's base, with no chance of any other significant result.

However, if as some reports claim, the house selects the president via one vote per state and the senate selects the VP more than something may come of it.
Imo, anyone continuing to think nothing will come of this might be zoned in on some false understanding. I welcome any education you might offer to contradict my understanding. Edify me.

Thankful that Senator Scott is not (yet) in this number. It would be disqualifying, to me, and I very much look forward to voting for him for Senate or President in the future.
How these Republicans have strayed so, so far from Constitutional conservatism is baffling. All because of one man. This is devastating for the future of conservatism in this country. And this was my worst fear of a Trump presidency. He is dragging conservatives down with him.

This moment has been coming for years, man. All the dogwhistles that Republicans have used for decades, the sowing of distrust of the media, the climbing in bed with charlatans like Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson, have all been steps along the path to someone like Trump leading the Republican Party. Yet you said just a couple of weeks ago that you would continue voting for Republicans.
This is your wake-up call. The Republican Party is now the party of Trump, and there's no turning back. Your support for the party means you endorse what they're doing right now.

I vote for individuals, regardless of party. It's just that usually those individuals are Republicans, and likely will be going forward, unless a lot of Democrats start to rise against the murder of the unborn.
I will not be voting for anyone who goes along with this "election fraud" fiasco. On an individual basis, I will continue to evaluate the candidates to determine if I vote for them.
