You can bet that is the main reason schools are willing to kill their cash cow of college football.
And who can blame them?
Do you really think there would not be multi-million dollar lawsuits left and right if players got sick and G-d forbid, one or more die from COVID?

If there’s nothing to hide and the presidents believe they are treating players fairly, then let them organize and work with them to better the sport while the money is still there. If you kill the season, entire athletic departments are going to fold.

We knew that there was a deadly virus in China. We also should have known that it could find its was to America.
The medical scientist should have been notified immediately for their advice. And perhaps they were.

that’s precisely what this is about. and to believe it’s anything else shows absolute stupidity. if people don’t think a parent would sue the sh1t out of a school, or conference, they are sadly mistaken.
