Who remembers the pompous attitude of the Miami faithfull

when they initially joined the ACC. They wore t-shirts to Clemson games that said "We May be in Your League but You're not in Our's". I'm not sure that their attitude had changed much since then.

Has Miami contributed as much as even Wake Forest to this league since they've joined?

If I'm wrong, please set me straight.

I'm not gonna disagree.

I like Wake's contributions to the league.

Seriously, an earlier thread quoted a Miami analyst who said that if the Canes win the games they're supposed to this year, they'll be in the ACCCG.

Ummm...with an 8-3 record? They expect a 7-3 conference record to be one of the top 2? And that's supposing they fulfill that big IF.

No, the fact that they do have championship trophies to display has confused their fans into thinking championships are easily won. They are wrong. Today's championships are harder to win than ever before.

Their fan base may need educated but Al Golden certainly knows a thing or 58 about Clemson. The U was good 20 years ago.

Since 2004 conference expansion:

ACC Titles
Wake: 1
daU: 0

The only team that has contributed less: NC State (no divisional titles) - Giving the 2013 additions a pass but even Pitt has done more (won the Coastal).
