Pasadena would be a small amount of revenue from TV.
I don't know why snobs in cali would even want to fool with it.
The parade has already been canceled.

flying all the way out to california to play a game in an empty stadium is stupid...especially when there are other states that are allowing some fans at the least at the stadiums for games

Well it sure wouldn't be fare deal with the 1st and 4th place teams having their kids parents, and fans in the stands, and the 2nd and 3d place teams playing in an empty stadium as big as the Rose bowl without a parent or a fan anywhere to be seen in the stands. If they want equal footing for all 4 teams playing in the playoffs, then it's a must change the venue to have equal circumstances for all 4 playoff teams, period!!!!
Dabo, and kelly, if they are the two teams to play at the rose bowl, they should both hold out to the very last second, and if nothing has changed with allowing parents, and fans in the rose bowl, then at the last minute, tell the committee that they're not entering the rose bowl without parents, and a safe number of fans being allowed in also, and hold steadfast to their decision, and if they do that, it will show that the people that has absolutely nothing to do with their programs, are not going to be the ones that make the final decisions about everything that happens concerning their programs.
These players, and coaches has worked hard through the covid pandemic, and injuries to get to the playoffs, and their kids playing the game won't be playing without their parents in the stadium watching them play for a championship.
The folks that sponsor these games are getting richer, (especially with this game) and then allowing it to be determined that the parents that raised these kid can't be there to watch, just say H&11 no, and stick to it!!!!

then they sure as #### shouldn't welcome 1,500+ folks flying in from all over to be there?! Once again, California shows they don't think things through.

I dont see the context of the question, but how about we just win in Charlotte before we worry about the Rose Bowl. Who cares where they play it. We are lucky to be playing at all at this point. Just Win!!

Some of us have kids and grandkids that mean the world to us. We devote immense amount of resources and effort and every part of our being into them and to not get to see them at a true LIFE event, win or lose, is a massive failure by the NCAA. Your comment is callous and misses the very point of these student athletes deserve: To have the people who they love the most be a part of this fabulous journey.
And no one is suggesting we don’t focus on tomorrow’s game. Another ridiculous comment.

At the economics of this football game. It has been well established that every team has experienced the increased cost of playing every game with the very real fact that much revenue has been lost by everyone. Flying the team and game personal completely to the west coast makes absolutely no sense when an equal site could easily be found for a much smaller cost. Not allowing family is an absolute stupid move. If the two teams involved agree to not make the travel and play the game I bet a better option would become available. I can see this happening.
But first, let’s take care of business in the Queen City. Go Tigers
