South Carolina schedule

Woooweee. They could very easily be 1-5 headed into Ole Miss and Lane Kiffin. Very easily be a 3 win season. Does Ol Mussy survive such a season or do they bury his coaching career like all the rest?

Week 1 - Sept. 26 - Tennessee
Week 2 - Oct. 3 - @ Florida
Week 3 - Oct. 10 - @ Vanderbilt
Week 4 - Oct. 17 - Auburn
Week 5 - Oct. 24 - @ LSU
Week 6 - Oct. 31 - Bye Week
Week 7 - Nov. 7 - Texas A&M
Week 8 - Nov. 14 - @ Ole Miss
Week 9 - Nov. 21 - Missouri
Week 10 - Nov. 28 - Georgia
Week 11 - Dec. 5 - @ Kentucky

I’m jealous in that they’ve got some big name teams coming to WillieB..

Remember, they don't have 3 ( non conference ) bad teams this year, They lose bad.

I'm guessing the over/under line is 3.5

I'm taking the under. I don't see Muschamop winning 4 games.

Y'all hate him because he's a coot. Understandable.

I don't like him because:
1. He's a gator.
2. He's a jerk. (polite way of saying what I really think of him)
3. He's a lousy coach.

Dawg is way worse than a Gator, from where Clemson fans sit.

Understand it's different for a Seminole.

Gator / Dawg combo, even worse yet. :)

Muschamp- remember the coach in waiting thing at Texas? What a long time ago and far away that seems

Is he not, still waiting?***

Took a quick peak at FGF schedule thread and a couple of boneheads over there see the coots going 6-4 but a few are more knowledgeable and see 1-9 or 2-8 as a real possibility. If they win 4 it would an accomplishment.

If they win the opener they might get 4 Ws. That is a big if though.

Yep, 3 or 4 wins

I’m going with 3

3-7

I don't see how a coach is going to get fired for on-field performance this year though. It would take some kind of scandal to get canned, otherwise everyone is basically going to get a mulligan.

Let's not fool ourselves. 0-10 is not a stretch.***

It's not .....nor would I be surprised that they will be playing Kentucky trying for their second win. I get the feeling that one SEC team may not really want to be playing this year ..... thus maybe the coots only win.

I can't see Muschamp surviving this schedule with Tennessee and Florida to start the season south Carolina could honestly go 1-9 this season but then again he could return to the gamecocks in 2021 due to his buyout

Honest to god

I can only see 3 wins. And, given that many other teams have better depth, I wouldn't be surprised if they only won 2 games.

Below is my projections for the season, by game.

My fiancé had the following to say (in parenthesis) when I asked her to predict wins & loses for the dirtpeckers.

9/26 - Tennessee - L (that's a Loss)

10/3 - @ Florida - L (Ouch, that's a loss)

10/10 - @ Vanderbilt - W (Hmmm, they'll lose)

10/17 - Auburn - L (That'll be an @$$ kicken)

10/24 - @ LSU - L (OMG...)

10/31 - Bye Week - (They'll still lose) LOL!!!

11/7 - Texas A&M - L (OMG, TAM will crush'em)

11/14 - @ Ole Miss - L (Toss up, but I think they'll still lose)

11/21 - Missouri - W (Yeah, Mizzou is gonna crush'em too)

11/28 - Georgia - L (oh god, they're gonna lose)

12/5 - @ Kentucky - L (Loss)

2 wins. 3 at best. (They're not gonna win 1 game this year. Ole Miss will be close, that's their only hope).

LOL!!

Vandy is probably the worst team in the $-EZ and that distinction will be exacerbated by the ever increasing number of their starters who are opting-out of playing the 2020 season.

Vanderbilt is legitimately staring straight down the barrel at an 0 - 10 season.

You know who sux on the chickens schedule? The cox. They’ll find a way to lose to Missouri.

uof6c, Mizzou, Kentucky and Ole Miss are all lousy teams...

You can also throw-in Mississippi State for good measure.

If they played ten times each, each series would likely end-up at 5 - 5.

When two bad teams play, anything can and usually does happen.

Vandy and Arkansas, on the other hand, are both at different levels of suckage. There is a good chance they finish the 2020 season 0 - 10

Does the BYU game on OCT. 31(WEEK 6) count as one of those wins.
Oh,that's Bye!
Never mind.

It'd be nice if all their games were televised at noon. I'd watch that! :0)

I see 5 definite losses: @ UF, Auburn, @ LSU, UGA, Texas A&M.
I see 2 definite wins: @ Vandy, Missouri.

That leaves Tennessee, @ Ole Miss, and @ Kentucky.

Best case scenario is 5-5 and worst case is 2-8. Think I will go with 3-7.

They'll beat both of the Tennessee schools is my guess , probably Ole Miss too . Missouri and UK are also extremely navigable games against ( and I don't know how you'd find yourself being in a position to be called a lesser team than USuC ) beatable opponents .
They lose all others , badly .
I can see only 3 wins , but 6 wins is not too too too much of a stretch , if the world of 2020 has taught us anything about the improbable .
5-5 is my forecast for the Dirtpeckers.

I was thinking that I don't want him to be fired, but does it really matter who coaches there?

4 - 6 at best but most likely 3 - 7...

Tennessee - likely loss
@ Florida - loss
@ Vanderbilt - win
Auburn - loss
@ LSU - loss
Texas A&M - loss
@ Ole Miss - toss-up
Missouri - toss-up
Georgia - loss
@ Kentucky - toss-up

This fighting Phalluses will have to win all of their toss-up games just to get to four wins which isn't likely to happen. The defense is still a mess, the offense lost its best WR and two top RB's, and frankly, although serviceable, the QB is not that good (he'd be 4th string at best at Clemson behind TL, D.J. and Phommachanh.

If not for the sure win against Vandy, three wins would be their ceiling.

My bad I counted the by week 4-6.

I'll gift them a win over the Vals and the Commode Doors.

That puts them at 2 and 4 going into the game with Lame's Kiffins. To quote GHW Bush (Dana Carvey impression): "Gonna lose, Bob. Gonna be ugly."

Coots just happy they don't have to begin and end the season with a loss to an ACC team.
