But he was a couple of years ahead of me and I never knew him all that well.

I will say this - he was Mr. All-Everything back in college. Played on the national championship soccer team in '87 and was still the nicest guy you would ever want to be around.

I am not surprised at his success. He is a fine representative of our university.

When it comes down to it, we should be proud when we see the success of individuals who attended (opposing) colleges in SC.

And we should all know by now that a lot of times the name on the degree is much more important than the university where it was earned.
