Honestly, he really needs to come back

Not because he won't be good at the next level, not because we need him, and not because he isn't ready... but because RB's at the next level are a dime a dozen for the most part. Teams in the NFL have realized you can get journeymen RB's to run behind good lines and get good production, and so there is a glut of RB's available and thus demand for most of them is down.

Very good idea for him to get his degree, aim for the NFL, and know that the likelihood of a 15 year NFL career as RB is low these days.

But, no matter his choice, no matter when he decides to leave, it has been great watching him develop into the runner he has become.

Lose their first two RBs and little drop off

looking forward to him freight training a few more DB's this fall. maybe he'll reach 1700 or 1800 yards. Maybe 2 finalist for the Heisman. Has that ever been done? if not lets be the first to put 2 players in NY next December. Go Tigers.

Reggie Bush and Matt Leinart from USC were both finalists with Vince Young in 2005

It's his choice.

If any one of these guys thinks that moving on is the right thing to do they should make the move. I understand how the coaches feel, some decisions are too important to make for others.

I wish any who leave the best, Clemson is family and that doesn't change with age, geographical location or whether or not they play football.
