BC's starting QB completed 50% of his passes for 208 yards, and they rushed for 68, averaging 2 yards a carry. That is 276 total yard of offense.
Clemson threw for 342 and rushed for 106. DJU had a 75% completion ratio and a QBR of 92.5. The score board also does not reflect that it took the refs 3 quarters to start calling BC for holding because Henry and Bresee got held all afternoon. We also ran 76 plays to their 58 and owned the TOP.
On paper we beat them soundly. On the field we shot ourselves in the foot with a goal line fumble, false starts, off sides on 4th and 4, and two interceptions negated by roughing the passer calls. All of these thing are correctable.

Lots of teams could not overcome having their #1 QB and multiple starters out, and a flurry of self-inflicted mistakes. They would have flat out lost the game. I'm really proud of this team, especially the younger guys.

I would say the refs shot us in the foot with PI calls on uncatcahable balls, ruffing the passer, and targeting. Glad in the second half it was a little better but I really hope these same refs aren’t at ND next week.

Notre Dame is notorious for getting help from the refs in South Bend. If you thought the zebras were slanted toward BC today you ain't seen nothing yet.

The ultramegaverse was aligned to Eff w/Clemson and test their mettle.
