I hope he does well for himself there. I may not love how he left, but I have some great memories of seeing him totes the rock!

I’ll always remember him as the guy who

left Clemson to play at rival UofSC. I know that’s probably not the PC thing to say right now, and I’ll probably get some hate for it, but if you’re honest, when is the last time you had a conversation about him that wasn’t about how stupid his decision was to transfer to that school? I had a big ole laugh about it today with my family.

I remember the three ACC championships and the two National Championships he helped us win.

I’m sure that’s what you talk about when Feaster comes up in conversation.

Pretty sad that you’ve held a grudge against a young man for a decision that didn’t impact your life one single bit.

I don’t hold a grudge, I’m just being honest about his legacy

Everybody on here that says “I’ll remember how great a young man he is” or “I’ll remember how he helped us win (blank)” are all being dishonest about what they say about him when the topic of Feaster comes up when talking to friends and family. That conversation is always about how he made a stupid decision, he went to the completely wrong school, and he ended up as the backup on a crappy team. Heck, even Gamecocks agree with those points. All this other stuff is PC bull crap. He knew what legacy he was choosing when he went to UofSC, and now if you call a spade a spade, people have to get offended.

Honestly, how often will he come up in conversation in the first place as time goes on? I don’t even mean that as disrespect to him. What I mean is, had he stayed then it’s not like too many Clemson fans were going to be sitting around talking about him 10 years from now anyway.
For instance, how many times do random Clemson fans strike up conversations with you about recent running backs like Choice, McDowell, Harper, Fuller, Dye, Brooks, etc...?
So what legacy did he give up? He still played on 2 NC teams, and 3 ACC Championship teams, and he still has the rings to show for it all along with his degree. His former teammates also still seem to love him, and I don’t see a guy like Dabo banning him from coming around if he still wants. So what legacy did he ruin?

I guess it’s also sad that so many of our players are also apologist towards him since they embraced him, said they’d always love him, and that he’s always be a brother?

He made a bad decision and I don't feel as positively about him as I once did. That's honestly how I feel. I appreciate what he did for us , though.

He would've been drafted higher if he stayed at Clemson.
Tajh Boyd is taken care of, we take care of our alumni players who didn't make it in the pros.
My issue wasnt that he went to SC, VT gave him an offer and he chose to go to Carolina anyway.
He couldn't break the top 3 there, he always seemed like a guy who expected to be #1 the second he stepped on the field.
He gave some effort for them mid-season, but it was too late.
I honestly see him making an NFL roster, some kids (martavis Bryant) just need motivation for a check to try harder.

His degree is from Clemson. Will his college be listed as Clemson or Cooterville State if he makes the Jags roster?

That's his choice, Deandre Hopkins comes out to Daniel High school.
I'd suspect Clemson, that's if he even makes the roster. I don't think Feaster holds his time at SC too fondly, they benched him for a younger RB.
I never understood why I went with a Flordia gator friend to the game in Columbia, he had over 150 yards rushing when they put him in after the guy they benched him for got hurt.
He didn't get many carries after that game.

not think he has NFL caliber ability. He is basically a track guy, with limited moves but good top end speed. It will be truly interesting to see if he makes even their practice squad.

Love to see him succeed. He gave a lot to Clemson plus he is a graduate of CU.
