as I remember in the fifties.weren't there also fireworks as well?going down to Clemson in '64.got a pecan roll on the way.spent my first night in the tin cans(D-603)and naively left the roll on a shelf.woke up the next morning to find it covered with little ants.needless to say I didn't get to enjoy that one.
