possibly remain in the championship hunt forever and that they couldn’t wait to relish in how far we’d fall. One claimed thank goodness we’ll never fall that far, to which I agreed and chimed in that’s right. You’ll never have to worry about winning multiple championships and falling out of the playoffs. Y’all just need to worry about falling to Virginia 28-0.

Ha! Let me guess, he then put down his old Milwaukee to scratch his head, desperately trying to figure out how/why you agreed with him!

Don’t be talking bad about Old Milwaukee. That was a staple in 71.

Lol! Some many tasty choices on the market today though only a coot would put his cigarette out in it and still drink it ??

in the mid to late 70's a case was an excellent 'bargain' at the red dot store. Our breakfast beer of choice on game days.

was actually penned by one Benjamin Franklin) that applies to the Coots:
"Tis hard for an empty bag to stand upright."
Translated in their case, It's hard to fall upward. Because, they are pretty close to rock bottom.

Shocking !!!!! I actually gave the coots a compliment the other day. Someone said the coots were not good enough to feed the hogs. I vehemently disagreed and said they were.
(Sometimes my sense of compassion surprises even me.)

Seems like some SC fans are obsessing on the wrong thing. Why not focus on getting your team better as opposed to Clemson stumbling? IMO, it's as if they know they will never rise higher than what they are (a mid-tier SEC team) and want Clemson to fall to their level.

You think they're mid-tier? Not by my estimate. For last year, here were the overall standings
1. Alabama 2. Georgia 3. LSU 4. Florida 5. Kentucky 6. Texas A&M 7. Mississippi State 8. Auburn 9. Missouri 10. South Carolina 11. Vanderbilt 12. Tennessee 13. Ole Miss 14. Arkansas
South Carolina is in the bottom third of the conference. They and Vandy were almost identical last year and Vandy had to play Notre Dame.

When I said they were mid-tier SEC I was reasoning they are definitely not top-tier (Alabama and Georgia) and not bottom-tier (Vandy, Tennessee, and Ole Miss). They beat who they should have beat and lost to the usual suspects. Including the bowl meltdown they finished 7-6 with a conference record of 4-4, barely qualifying for a bowl game.
Just my opinion.

When Tennessee, Ole Miss and I do believe Arkansas improve, then Uof5C will be battling Vandy for the bottom of the SEC.

When I play like crap, the fall doesn’t really bother me.
Especially when there is beer to cushion the impact.

That’s bad when you know that you will never amount to anything in football.

win seasons to 10-win seasons, but, then again, they do have to worry about going from 7-win seasons back to 0-win seasons.
Silly coots. Ain't nuthin' more sad.
