What a solid game from this young man. Admittedly, I had kind of given up on him going into this year. Gladly eating crow. Need him to continue being reliable next week for sure.

He took control as a senior player should and had the game of his career. I can’t wait to see more of EJ as well!!!

I have said many times, if Powell had been here in say, 2008-2009 time frame, he would be the unquestioned #1 and we would be thrilled to have him we have just bee blessed with SO many studs. This year he has provided steady play, good hands and a strong frame. The kid looks beastly and I hope he is playing his way on to an NFL roster for next year.

Dittoes! Was very happy for that young man and the day he had! He definitely deserves a big part of the credit for a W y’day!

He is a stud and on long run plays you see him downfield blocking his @$$ off.

He is a more talented Trevion Thompson and/or Jaron Brown. Thompson got himself a look in the NFL and Brown has carved out a pretty decent career there. I feel like Powell will make someone's squad should he choose not to come back for his COVID free year of eligibility next year. He definitely has shown an ability to be the complimentary option opposite Amari this year.
