He's takin the night off from power. I didn't see his last at bat but he only had a double and a single. He needs to step it up. Lol
The lowered seems cause less wind resistance.

I wonder how much that affects the movement of the pitch. If I were a control pitcher I Would be pissed. They think their curve is going to snap on a 1-2 pitch and instead the thing just hangs and some fan sitting in the outfield has a new souvenir.

It's definitely going to affect the movement of a pitch. Different pitches are thrown and held a certain way to use that exact wind resistance to move the ball. I have noticed more hanging pitches. The lowered seems are also going to allow for less pull on a curveball and or slider. I've pitched with low seem balls b4 and it sucks. Trying to rest your finger up against the seem to get a good pull for rotation is more difficult.

It's not going to effect the movement of the pitch it just simply means guys have to be more precise with pitches...they still move the same I mean the breaking balls still snaps off but you have to start it middle down instead of being able to miss up in the zone simply bc the hitters can hit em a little further with the seams...the MLB ball has even lower seams but they still move like crazy...that's why they can still hit em a long ways with wood bats, even lower seams.

It seems to me that the seams of the ball seems to be affecting something.
