That's crazy. Maybe the Texans will give him a shot, Cushing just got hurt at LB(Like every season since he's been in the league).

He spent all of that time in the Carolina Playbook and the 49ers only signed him to get what information they good...

Pretty sorry to do a person that way, but I am sure this has been going on for a long time.

Ben was the strongest leader/motivator on that D, and he's a very tough and smart player, he sometimes saw plays before they happened. I know our defense would not have been that good without him.

What is the need for your post? You added nothing to the conversation. The other poster gave an uplifting note to a great Clemson player who has had to tough time lately.

I am pretty sure you faceless nameless poster would never say it to Ben's face.

THIS is exactly why more and more fans are tuning in to CFB, and enjoying it.

NFL is crap, and only cares about money. Not players, not wins, not even championships. Just money.

As Dabo says, "that's bull crap."

I hope you learn a valuable lesson one day NFL. You're a half step away from NASCAR at this point. Ludicrous.

Actually, the players in the NFL care about the money as well....Care A Lot!!

I know. Same logic applies.

Wish I saw more players, more "DUDES" that love winning, instead of a top-down mentality of "#### you, where's my paycheck."

CFB isn't completely destroyed yet. Fingers crossed.

I'd say eyes wide open Ben. You've been screwed twice with an empty promise. Welcome to capItalistic NFL. Players and fans need to know this BS business behavior. Unsettling and unforgivable.

Love you Ben. Great tiger and great man. Amazing heart and good smarts on the field.

But why you signing expensive lease when on practice squad?? Pocket the money bc you never know how long your opportunity will last.

Not sure there is any other type lease in San Fran...***

I wish Ben could be on the sidelines this week at the UL game. Jackson would tremble just seeing him.

Wish the best for BB but why sign expensive lease?

Another lesson learned.

He is still a young Kid...

Posted: Sep 14, 2017, 10:12 AM

Kids tend to be a little naive about trusting people. Hopefully he was able to break the lease.

And everything is expensive there, compared to Clemson.
