Clemson BB Tourney History

I just read where Winthrop won their conference tourney and were heading to their 11th NCAA tournament. Little surprised to see that they have been to that many. How many has Clemson been to? I remember:
79/80 (best team ever Imo, final 8)
86/87
88/89
89/90 (U Conn heartbreaker)
96/97
97/98
06/07
07/08
08/09
09/10
17/18
Am I missing any? Should’ve went in 80/81 with 20 wins, Nance’s last year. By my count that’s the same as Winthrop. Knew they had some tradition but that’s a little surprising.

According to Wiki, we've made 12 appearances, with the '90 appearance being vacated.

You could just research how many of Winthrop’s bids came after their league got an automatic bid (all have come since 1999). Then see how many of their bids were automatic (all were automatic and a result of winning the Big South Conference Tournament) and how many were at large (none) then see what their tournament record is (1-9 with the only win coming as an 11th seed which was also their highest seed). Probably a better synopsis of their program. Wouldn’t say that’s necessarily better than Clemson.

I wouldn’t say their program is better than ours overall. Just seems like they came out of nowhere the last 20 years.
