Burch Theory

I've been giving this some thought and would like to hear y'all opinions. I noticed that he's going out of his way to avoid Clemson. No visits official or otherwise since the All in Cookout that we know of. Could he possibly be working with smoke and mirrors? Making everyone think that he's not interested and on NSD he commits to Clemson. I sure hope that's the plan. Thoughts?

He's making everyone think that he's not interested because he's not interested. Why complicate it

How do you know he’s not interested?

Puberty knows the signs of disinterest.

No idea. Maybe because we already have 4 studs committed as well as some great players already on campus.

Your theory is possible but very unlikely.
Move on.

What would be the point of that?

I would think he'd get a lot more benefit out of making the short drive to hang out and get to know his future teammates, coaches, and become more familiar with the campus rather than sitting at home just to keep his recruitment a secret. If it turned out that he had taken some "secret/unreported" unofficial visits to Clemson and he was a silent commit the whole time, then sure...but it's more likely that he decided pretty early on that of the instate schools he preferred USUC, and from there he just needed to decide if it would be USUC or one of the out-of-state schools.
