All these Hatfield posts bring back memories of the Max Lennon and Bobby Robinson days. There was a lot more going south than just football in those days at Clemson.
Which brings to mind some of Dabo's recent comments.
He said from the president down Clemson has the best administrative alignment in all of college football to be successful. I'm not a fan of how President Clements has pushed some social agendas on campus, but its pretty clear that things are well organized for continued success in football. A far cry from the early 90s, and I'm really glad for that.
Bobby Robinson was not the problem back in the day. He was implementing what the President and Board of Trustees wanted. He was a nice scapegoat for many, but he was and is a fine man.
