Are we overthinking the whole "coach depth chart" thing?

Why can't TE call plays from home? Isolate there, watch the game on TV and call plays like he's playing Madden in his basement. That way he could also be checking TigerNet for poaster suggestions.

Seems like an easy solution. Why has nobody mentioned this? TIA

it's a rules thing. TE cannot call plays from home. We're not the B1G, so we have to follow rules

The protocol does not allow it. An earlier poster included the rule for viewing by us. Another thing I thought of is usually there is some sort of a delay built into programing which would cause difficulty in getting plays called and signaled in within the allotted time.
