Are we losing our home game against USC?
Jan 25, 2021, 7:43 PM

We wanted to play USC. The ACC gave permission for 10 ACC games plus one. Are we not resetting so we have USC at home for 2021? I haven’t heard officially. Is no one else mad about this?

No, not mad. Schedules are made 15 to 20 years out these days. If you start switching games around you would have to redo all the already set schedules. If not, you would have 6 home games one year and 8 the next. Easier just to play the games as already scheduled.

Well, since we were ready to play the coots, but they bailed

They should be penalized in some way. I think the 2021 game should be at Clemson, but then keep the regularly scheduled rotation, so we would get the home game in 2021 and 2022!

Yes, I am with you Long. We lose the home game but we also lose the much needed income after such a sucky 2020. Ppl say no big deal but monetarily that is Millions we have lost for our athletic program. We should make them pay extra if we lose our home game that we were open to play.

“They actually didn’t bail.” Don’t be so gullible, McFly!

It’s like when you have a Democrat elected in a majority Republican district. When a strongly Democrat bill is is going to pass by a large majority, that representative can vote AGAINST the bill because his vote doesn’t matter- the bill is passing without his vote. He can then tell his district constituents “see, I voted against the bill” and be viewed by the gullible as a moderate or even a closet Republican.
So, when the coots say, “see, we voted for out of conference games” DON’T buy it - they knew the SEC vote against OOC games was already in the bag. If the SEC vote was tied and coots had the deciding vote, does ANYONE actually believe they would have voted to “let’s go play Clemson AT Death Valley and get our azzes kicked 56-7 for the 7th time in a row!” Right. If you buy that, I have the clear title to a bridge over the Cooper River that I can sell to you at a great price. You can make your money back in two years just by charging tolls!
Go Tigers!

USuK did not bail on the game. They voted to play the OOC games. It was the SEC conference big wigs that decided only conference games could be played.

Yes, we are losing our home game against the Lamecocks. Too bad we missed out on a sure blowout, but it will make a win in Columbia next year even sweeter. Go Tigers!!!

Don't much matter where we beat them at, could honestly care less if we even play them. Screw the coots.
