Falsehood flies, and truth comes limping after it, so that when men come to be undeceived, it is too late; the jest is over, and the tale hath had its effect: like a man, who hath thought of a good repartee when the discourse is changed, or the company parted; or like a physician, who hath found out an infallible medicine, after the patient is dead.

Republicans: If you want to win an election, you're gonna have to buy it.
Also Republicans: Wah! The Democrats are trying to buy elections!

OC,

They did this to try to counterbalance the repugs efforts to squash the vote in these Democratic areas.

Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, and Chan first contributed $250 million to the Center for Tech and Civic Life in early September to boost resources for local election officials, such as additional polling places and ballot drop boxes. Critics contended the money primarily went to heavily Democratic areas in battleground states in an effort to tilt the balance. Further, they also noted the political leanings of the tech group.

Thus far, the tech group has won in court.

They can do whatever they wish as long as they forego their section 230 protection.

I agree. Take away that status.
