ACC Championship ?

What happens if we get there and ND “all of a sudden” team comes down with Covid-19 that week and can’t play do they still get the championship and go to the playoffs?

I would think they would have to forfeit.
But I'm not Swofford.

No way. The other team shouldn’t be penalized if they get sick. Not our fault. Can’t play, next man up.

My point with this is If ND decides they don’t want to play to avoid getting knock out of the playoffs, all they have to do is say we have too many Covid-19 infection and can’t play so sorry Clemson you don’t get your chance to redeem your loss on our behalf. We are still undefeated so they cannot leave an unbeaten ND out of the playoffs. Hippa laws would protect them from showing results of players test.

This is actually something I’m concerned could happen! What should happen is if Notre Dame don’t play tough luck Clemson gets in the playoffs over Notre Dame. Luck matters But Clemson shouldn’t be punished if Notre dame can’t play. That’s like saying Clemson could have skipped yesterday’s game and it not matter
