Quick rant about "Clemson gentlemen" scalping tickets.

I know we just won the national championship but I can't believe what people are asking for Aubie tix. I just want to take my family to enjoy a night game.

Had a guy email me back for 4 lowers together and wanted $110 per ticket!! I told him where to shove it. Just can't believe people treat other Clemson people like that.

not a bad idea, I believe in Gaffney you can still legally discharge fire arms in the city proper?

10 paces seems enough to settle a ticketing dispute, or is that too far for one to discharge?

Things were cheap around here during Hatfield and West.

Those were the good ole days.

I can't believe I used to complain about those 7-cent cokes. Well, they were only 6.5 ounces, so maybe my complaints were justified. Times - they are a changin'.

For a game against Newberry, $2.50 is still the market price. ;)

Is this a joke?

You got mad because he offered you tickets for $110?

Is this a serious post?

That is an absolute STEAL for a game of this magnitude.

I am a lower deck season ticket holder, but my girlfriend wanted to go and bring a friend this game. So, I had to pay $175 each for two upper deck tickets...and was happy to do so!

Mad at a face value offer? Wow. I have officially seen it all.

I literally laughed out loud when I read this post Top, I mean if you're a true clemson fan you should be giving away your unused tickets

Yea....what a Rube! I paid $3800. in IPTAY dues and $110. each for my six tickets.
I'll just let you have them for 50. each so you and your family can just go to a ballgame.
I want to be fair and everything.

I can do $50.

I expect I'll go down and walk around for a good while, enjoy sights and sounds, and find a ticket (lower deck, no less) for about $45. Actually 2, because I'll take a friend with me and get him one too.

No chance you'll find one that cheap you've obviously never been to a Clemson game before

Actually there's been times I've bought $20 tickets for a few ACC games, ga tech a few years ago comes to mind.. I wasn't even thinking about going inside until this dude offered me one ticket for $20... Maryland a few years ago I got in pretty cheap, Fla state when we loss 51-14 I kid you not I only paid $10 for a pass, yea I couldn't believe it either. Uga game I spent $60 for 2 lower level tickets, it can happen bro just gotta meet the right person

link

(LOL at this one) ... My question for you

[1]
Posted: Sep 6, 2017, 8:47 PM

who thinks I've never been to a Clemson game - I GREW UP here, and was probably going to them before you ever came along. That is why I know how to get tickets with such confidence. It's just experience, skill, patience, maybe having a kid with me, and some bargain and trade at times.

BTW, where were you when Dan Devine and Notre Dame came to town and we all fake clapped but there was no noise. I was sitting on the 15 yard line lower deck with a cheap ticket.

I never said you haven't attended a Clemson game, I'm saying from personal experience I've gotten into plenty games for literally nothing, didn't have to spend much at all... I'm from the area as well, born and raised in near by Seneca, went to Edwards middle graduated from Seneca high so I know all about the area... My first Clemson game was 2003 vs Ga tech , only went to maybe 5 games from 2003 till 2008(I'm younger so couldn't really go to games unless my dad went). Went to Tampa in Spiller last year when they played for the ACC championship, was in Tally when Dustin Hopkins hit 56 yarder to win it, witnessed 4th and 16 vs LSU, and was at both national championships... Kinda got off track there but I just wanted to toot my own horn just like you did lol

That sounds like a great offer to me. Nothing wrong with wanting to get your money back. This seller obviously had more than 110 in the tickets since that is the FACE VALUE.
If you TU'ed this post ..... shame on you!

Some fans just don't folllow the team very closely

bruh, that's face value for the tickets***
