Neighborhood FB Group Drama

So, on NYE this dude in our neighborhood dies of a blood clot and leaves behind his wife, 3 kids, and his live in MIL (probably a suicide, amirite?). I saw the ambulance and police car go by, so it could have been me, ya know?
Anyways, all of this comes to light on the neighborhood FB page, so everyone starts offering to help, and cook, and generally go about virtue signaling. Yesterday, the MIL (efing Beech, amirite?) asks on the FB page if anyone could possibly donate boxes and help them move out of their home as they closed on it on 12/20. Some other well intentioned neighbor does the math and figures out that they were positive while they had the house listed (listed on 12/19 and closed on 12/20) and asks if, perchance, they did contact tracing with everyone who's been through the home so that their tragedy wouldn't happen to another family.
Shid blows up. She gets called "unprofessional" (?) and several come to the defense of the widow. The COVID police's husband then shows up and starts throwing haymakers, and I'm just sitting over here refreshing the post every 15 minutes and flicking my bean like a 45 year old housewife watching reruns of Below Deck Mediterranean.

everyone in the neighborhood should begin wearing 3 masks, 4 if you are privileged enough to have the finances for it. Probably not a bad idea to start consolidating dog feces to smear on the children's faces, too.
