Napier doesn't really want the usuc job, he

Just wants the money those crazy chickens will throw out to anyone crazy enough to take that job. Heck, I would take it knowing I wouldn't win if they just gave me a million a year for 3 years. Then who would be the dumbest. Me for taking it or them for even considering it.

Is there bad blood between Dabo and Napier?
I want the coots to hire a coach Dabo holds a grudge against.

He wants it. You have to admit that at 41 getting to follow Muschamp (loser), SEC, major university, most wins by a coach ~ 55....where’s the EASY button. I’ll leave it at that.

What I don't understand, and what no one has been able to explain to me, is why SCAR wants HIM. What makes them think that he is their long term answer - someone who can transform the program?
What would be the over/under on how long he stays there? 5-6 seasons?

Napier is probably their best option IMO...

First, reports are, he actually may be interested in the job which, in and of itself, is quite the contrast compared to the last time they were looking for a coach when absolutely no one other than CussChamp was interested. Second, he's affordable...even by uof6c standards. His current salary is less than $900,000 annually and his buyout is less and $1 million.
Third, he coached under Dabo and Saban and by most accounts, has developed into a pretty solid head coach at ULaLa.
Fourth, he's very familiar with recruiting the southeast.
I'm not saying he can or will turn them into legitimate SEC Least contender. Not sure anyone can. However, all things considered, he seems like a reasonably good fit which is why uof6c will likely go in the complete opposite direction.
