What’s it like strapping on the mighty gamecock uniform? We’d love to know in the upstate.

He's already cashed his check. Or, rather, his Momma cashed her check.
Just buying his time until he gets a chance to go pro, and get Momma another check.

If he had potential it was all lost when he signed on for Misfits University!

He went from a potential 1st round pick to a 5th or 6th round.

Whether he came here or not, I didn't have high expectations for Burch as a freshman.
He's an incredible athlete and if you watch some of his film running the ball in open field, it will blow your mind. But as a DE (which is the only thing that matters), I never thought he was in the same league as Myles Murphy.
If Burch ever develops a motor, watch out. From the videos I watched, he sure didn't seem to have one in high school.

I never watch the Coots unless they play us, but when I saw the lopsided score last night I flipped over to enjoy the carnage. I do like reading FGF after they lose, so I checked it out mid game. They were complaining about everything, including Burch. Said he was “standing around” half the time, not playing full speed, and it looked like he “didn’t want to get his uniform dirty.” Gotta love the Coots! They’ve already started piling on...

Not good at all. Concerns about his effort and focus are why it wasn't a big deal to me when he went elsewhere.

Sounds like Burch maybe a clone of Clowney. Only plays when he wants to.
