These are some interesting charts.

The deficit spending is most interesting to me, but they are all interesting.

No charts on labor participation rate, insurance premium increases, number of Americans on food stamps? Interesting omissions. Is median income adjusted for tax rates? I mean, median income could be 100k, but if $40k goes to taxes and insurance premiums, who cares.

My insurance costs went through the roof under Trump. The best part I noticed about Trump on there was that median wages went up solidly.

It's interesting. Two things explain almost all of those

charts. And neither has to do with who is President.

Those two things are lenders who made bad loans to people who couldn't pay them and then used that for investment collateral, and the other is a pandemic respiratory virus.

You could argue the former was due to a lack of proper oversight, and the latter was a lack of preparation, but whatever.

Tiggity,

Thumbs up (or should I say middle digit) for the new icon. I am having trouble keeping up.

I agree that those two spikes include things beyond normal economic considerations, but the responses to then and the data surrounding those events are still interesting.

To me the main takeaway is that Trump's ( and his loyalists') propaganda on his economic acumen doesn't seem to hold water (even excluding the pandemic year.

Yep, make the charts favorable for any administration that benefits Amazon. Amazon would like nothing more than all Americans forced to sit at home waiting on a govt check.

This chart also accounts for accuracy (top to bottom)

If all Americans sitting home, who’s delivering Amazon pkgs?***

Slight to moderate liberal bias.

High factuality level.

And that's a "liberal media crap" site to you. Got it.

If they don't post Nazi propoganda, they're liberal

Take out the 'rona effect and Trump did pretty well.

Dec 31, 2020, 9:04 AM

ANY president would have shown the same charts for 2020.

Maybe. They would be bad though, but it's before 2020 that is interesting. That's all I found interesting.

Yeah, 2020 is an anomaly that would have hurt anyone, although I think trump's pitiful response made things worse.

The truer measure of his economic performance is the 3 years prior - and they are not nearly as impressive as Trump & Trumpers would have us believe.
