Favorite walk off home run?

May 15, 2013, 6:46 PM

I remember watching this live, drinking a beer at a bar on the beach at Ocean Lakes. Just got chills watching it again.

I was at that game. Knew it was gone as soon as he hit it. Awesome game! I've been looking for this video for a long time. Thanks for posting it!

I was there for the Colvin walk off

that was special, but the one last night was SO unexpected

May 15, 2013, 9:54 PM

nobody in the stands expected that bolt of lightning. I was at the Oral Roberts game, and while it was amazing, it wasn't totally a shock to see our best player rip one out.

Last night, nobody expected it to be a HR ---- EVEN AFTER IT WAS HIT. From a Freshman? We have 14 HRs TOTAL AS A TEAM this year. Colvin had 13 that year by himself.

This was just impossible.

The wind was blowing in so hard last night.....did you see Tim Bourret's Tweet before the game?

Wind blowing in at kingsmore stadium tonite. I don't think tigers woods could drive golf ball over outfield fence.

Tim Bourret ?@TimBourret 14 May
Kevin Bradley just did what I said tiger woods could not do with a driver....Hit a walkoff 3 run shot to left. Tigers 8 Usc upstate 7.

Last night is truly hard to top, considering the circumstances. I'm glad I was there to witness it.

And because it was so unexpected...

it's a huge boost to the mentality of the team. Sure, it would have been great had Garrett Boulware or Shane Kennedy hit it, but it wouldn't have been the surprise that it is that Kevin Bradley hit it. I think that's one thing that separates this team from some others is that anyone in the lineup can be a difference-maker. While it doesn't have the power hitters of some teams, especially the 2002 team, it has better hitters top to bottom.
