Under normal circumstances I would certainly be rooting for them to beat Ohio State, regardless of when the game was played.

But, my fire has really been stoked this week.

All week long I've seen the media (radio, TV, internet, newspaper, you name it) talk about the games this weekend and the difference scenarios for the playoffs depending upon who won which game.

With one big exception. I have not seen or read a single person even remotely discuss what would happen if Ohio State loses. Not even, "Hey, given the slightest, remotest, miniscule chance that Ohio State loses, who would be their replacement?"

Eveybody, and I mean EVERYBODY has already given Ohio State the win.

Man, would it be so much fun to listen to the talking heads try and grasp what a NS wins means.

Rumors are it is one WR (Olave) and 4 or 5 other non-starters who are out.

You haven’t heard about that possibility because they mainly want to focus on the possibility that Noter Dame beats Clemson and what they need to do.

Remember when Duke played y'all in 14 for the ACCCG.

I think a lot of folks thought it was cute that duke made it that far and cheered for them but at the end of the day, we knew they were not going to win.
