Would FSU lose to Arizona?

Nov 11, 2014, 7:54 PM

I hate FSU, but the committee ranking Oregon over FSU is completely ridiculous.

Oregon would not lose if they played 10 more times this season. Fluke game.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

"Fluke game" or not, they gave up 495 yards at home to

Nov 11, 2014, 7:59 PM

a team that really isn't that good.

Except for when, you know, Utah was running them out of the building before completely imploding due to circumstances unrelated to Oregon's quality of play at all.

I hate FSU worse than most , but I have a hunch that they are better than everyone else again this year. Lots of "experts" see them playing close with teams and say they aren't as good as last year. They come from behind and beat everyone.
I wouldn't bet against them to repeat.
Crablegs sucks at life , at morality and at truthfulness , but he skrong at football game scoring procedures .

Possibly and they would lose to Oregon

.

I agree. However IF the playoff were held tomorrow,

Nov 11, 2014, 8:00 PM

I'd like to see FSU knock off Miss st in round 1 so no SEC national champion.

I do think the ACC's lackluster performance

Nov 11, 2014, 8:03 PM

in the non-conference hurts FSU. They don't have the opportunities on the schedule for quality wins like the other teams do.

But in the end, FSU is fine. They will be in if they win out, and they won't if they don't.

most of the teams in the top 10 would beat fsu imo. they are no where as good this year as they were last year.

Nov 11, 2014, 8:50 PM [ in reply to I do think the ACC's lackluster performance ]

If they wanted strength of schedule, they could schedule some non conference games. U.F. is usually a quality game, but other than that they use their non conference slots for flunkies.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Not this year...Okla St. and ND on the schedule.

Nov 11, 2014, 8:53 PM

Their non-conference is fine. They just don't get the opportunities in-conference to beat quality teams. If they had played Clemson later on, not when Clemson was 1-1, that would help.

Notre Dame is part of the ACC deal.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

OK...I don't understand why that matters.

Nov 11, 2014, 8:57 PM

ND is a good team. They are not a cupcake.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: OK...I don't understand why that matters.

Nov 11, 2014, 8:58 PM

FSU usually schedules weak out of conference games. If they were really worried about strength of schedule, Citadel would not be there. They think their schedule is strong enough.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

As long as they win, it will be good enough.***

Oklahoma State has turned into a terrible team***

They're not great, but they're not a cupcake, or "flunkie".***

They played ND and OK st

Nov 11, 2014, 8:59 PM [ in reply to Re: I do think the ACC's lackluster performance ]

when they sched OK st, OK state was a very good team. So to say they schedule flunkies is a dumb statement

This year they had Citadel.
Last year they had Nevada, Bethune-Cookman, and Idaho.
2012 they had NIU, Murray State, Savannah State, and USF.
