You are correct, and I am happy for The Citadel. I heard on radio this afternoon, that if this game actually develops, it will save several jobs and a number of scholarships for The CID.

It's about time we started playing the next best football team in the state of South Carolina, instead of just playing the Gamecocks every year. Beating them has really gotten boring. I'm betting next year it'll either be Wofford or Charleston Southern.

Somebody needs to tell StubHub that the Akron game is a dead duck. According to the kid I talked to in the ticket office, when the schedule got reworked, they started fresh, clean slate. I guess I have a sizeable credit now since StubHub won't refund for a cancelled game.
