I just got some letter wanting some information about a person who may have missed some work due to a car crash. What is my actual obligation to fill this #### out?

Sounds to me like it is from workers comp, or the other party's attorney. If you are in doubt, I'd contact a legal pro and ask them what your obligations are. At least that way your ### is covered.

Not workers comp. I can't even confirm that she was out

due to an accident. Her boss didn't have it noted. This is her attorney trying to figure out how much to ask other parties insurance company for I do believe. I've seen this several times before. I'd like to be able to tell them to #### off and tell the employee to not waste time with it. I mostly feel this way because I don't want to info that isn't 100% correct.

I agree...that mess takes you away from your job and risk getting the answers right. Cover your backside!
Now, if she has a purdy mouth it's a hole new ball game!
