I've seen all three lineups. I also didn't hate George, but he didn't really gel with the band much and it's hard to be the lead guitar post Mikey.

George was good but not great and he followed the Lingering

Lead. He was destined to fail. The only two names that could fill that void were Jimmy or Derek. Derek was ABB and DTB at the time and Jimmy was busy with The Dead and Phil & Friends. Derek would have been intriguing though.
I saw 5 Mikey shows, probably 20+ George shows and maybe 10 Jimmy shows. Man, I miss Mikey.

Haven't seen 'em since. But they don't venture to NYC much anymore. They don't even sell out when in NYC area.
Also - why so much cocaine at Panic shows?

DJ Logic? I saw him with them once and it was OK, very different.
My numbers were off, 5 with Mikey, 17 with George, 17 with Jimmy.

I was also at the show when Sunny wasn't there due to his father's death. Interesting to see Panic without the drum break and without Sunny at all. More of a rock feel.

Few different NYE runs but no Halloweens. Hindsight is 20/20. Wish I had seen more shows back before we had kids.

my first WSP show of many

https://www.panicstream.com/vault/widespread-panic-08131993-charlotte-nc/ Widespread Panic - 08/13/1993 - Charlotte, NC 08/13/93 Palladium Amphitheater, Carowinds, Charlotte, NC 0: Holden Oversoul, Better Off, Little Kin, Pigeons, Wondering, Walkin' (For Your Love), Hatfield, Maggot Brain, Can't Get High, Chilly Water
Probably ending up seeing them 15+ times and I never saw them after Mikey passed. I never gave Jimmy a chance and I regret it. I was just so upset after he passed I didn't think WSP should continue, and I couldn't accept anyone in his place. Jimmy is amazing and has done an incredible job. He is very respectful of what MH created, but also puts his mark on the songs.
As soon as things get back to normal I'm making it a mission to get to one.
