Sorry to interrupt the medical experts, financial analysts, and moral philosophers that have taken over the board these days, but I'm wondering what you consider the funniest Clemson play you've ever seen. I kinda favor Boulware suplexing the Syracuse player, even if it didn't humiliate a Coot.

In the negative, didn’t Tajh Boyd fall down and toss the ball in the air to an FSU defender.

Funny bad. 1996 Gator Bowl and 1998 Duke own team tackle

In the 1996 Gator Bowl the offensive guru Tommy West decided that since it was raining they would only run three plays and it became very obvious which play we were going to run based on formation. Hence, we lost 41-0. That whole game was an offensive folly film. 1998 Duke we ran a toss sweep with the guard pulling but he pulled the wrong way, resulting in colliding with Priester in the backfield. Essentially tackling his own guy. West sure was a funny coach.

This was long ago, back during Rudy Hayes' playing days. Clemson was playing Maryland at home. Maryland had punted and the ball came to rest about the 15 - 30 yard line on the west end of the field. Several Maryland players and Rudy were standing near the ball and the official had never blown it dead. Rudy suddenly picked up the ball and started racing down the field, The startled Maryland players started chasing Rudy. Rudy was no speed merchant and the Maryland players finally brought him down around mid-field.

My freshman year 1969 our freshman team vs UofSC we punted and the ball hit and took a high bounce. A Coot player jumped up and batted the ball to the ground. The Coots all walked off. A Clemson player stood thei re a minute and picked up and scored!. In another frosh game vs Duke, their QB was a pretty good runner and was moving them pretty good. Finally he ran a sweep with a pulling guard leading. Our LB dove untouched over the guard and nailed the QB!
