If this game isn’t played and Miami wins out. We could be shut out of the conference championship.

Which they rescheduled for Dec. 19....day of ACCCG.
They have 2 games prior to ACCCG, as does Clemson.

Don’t disagree with you but if Miami plays at noon on 12/19 and wins, then technically they are 9-1 and would be in 2nd. Surely the ACC has something in place saying records are what they are on 12/12 for the Championship game.

First of all, we own the tie breaker with Miami since

we beat them earlier in the season. Clemson will play FSU on 12/12, one week before the ACC Championship game. If we win out through 12/12 Clemson is 10-1 and going to the ACC Title game on 12/19.

Would go to ACC champ game based on a 9-1 ACC record in that scenario. Although there is no guarantee the FSU game will be made up, especially with the circumstances we had today. Why would CU subject themselves to FSU pulling this #### again if they can help it.

Of all the motives FSU may have had for refusing to play

today, helping out Miami is certainly not one of them. Nobody despises Miami more than them.

But it's not like they are going to play a doubleheader...
Pretty sure the continual "what about Miami?" posts will be an albatross for T-Net.
We need to win the next 2 games and get ready for Notre Dame again.
If they reschedule the FSU game, so be it.

If teams have same number of losses, then head to head decides. This game means nothing.

Flat out not true. We are in if we win out, even with 1 less game. Per the ACC guidelines

I believe we have the win over Miami so that would apply in this instance. If The Tigers win out they play in Charlotte.

we beat them head to head and however the year works out we shouldnt have blown the ND game. then there wouldnt be an issue. No one can say how many games and when anyone will play given how its going

If that were true, it would give us more time to prepare for the playoff. They are probably not going to give us that advantage, like Alabama was given a few years ago.
