Did ETN’s development as a player hurt him

against ND’s D? A couple years ago I heard Dabo talk about him developing as a result of waiting on run blocking before exploding. With the lack of successful run blocking, on Sat evening at South Bend, would he have been better off exploding past/around his failing Oline? That coulda been a coaching adjustment at some point in the game? Idk - just a thought.

Go Tigers!

ETN will be fine, ND loaded the box because Trevor Lawrence was on the sideline.

His touchdown run was the only hole opened for him. Could have tried a jet sweep a few times. D.J. not quite fast enough yet. So rely on the pass. Better to use a screen pass with no blockers to ETN. Might try two running backs too
