1. How the teams line up pre-snap is an important and interesting part of the game.
2. Who is in the game is important.
3. Replays from the end zone cameras can be enlightening and informative.
4. 30 second shots of coaches in the booth during play are not enlightening, informative, or interesting.
5. Ditto 30 second shots of fans, family members, coaches, and players not in the game.
6. Ditto - especially - GAME ANNOUNCERS. They should be disembodied voices if the game or play clock is running.
7. Cheerleader shots should be substituted for items in points 4, 5, and 6 whenever possible without interfering with coverage of the actual gane.

I get the need for telling stories, showing fans, and all that. I'm not saying I enjoy every second of that stuff, but it keeps the casual fans more engaged. There's only so much talking about the games that can be done between plays, especially when games turn into blowouts.

I must say I really enjoy when they show UGa, Ohio State, or coot fans when their team has a bad play or is losing (especially badly).
