from the era where "pass coverage" really means pass interference, i.e. not playing the ball at all, but blindly running with the receiver and then grabbing/tackling them well before the ball arrives and maybe (or not) half-way turning your head to simulate "playing the ball", and hoping you don't get called for P.I., but knowing it's okay if you do? It looks to me we may have the most talented group of DBs we've ever had, and they may be playing with more technique and discipline than any I've seen in a long long time.
I notice they have been rotating the CB's often. Co-starters I am assuming. Goodrich has gotten in there a bunch. Jones as well. You have to have multiple CB's you can trust and I like our CB group a whole lot. I can't think of a time we have been as deep at the CB position at Clemson? Anyone?
