Comparing Tiger Recruiting classes

The 2021 class is ranked 5th in the nation with an average rating of 0.9373. That is the highest average rating for a Clemson class!

The 2019 class was ranked 10th in nation and had an average rating of 0.8976. Look at some of the studs that were in that class...Our coaches are doing a great job!

I am happy with our progress...

However, the "ratings" only apply to Georgia boosters and their coaches...

We have typically bounced around the 16-7th ranked classes.... and been in the top 4 (or champions) for the past 5/6 years.

We need two things, be in the top grouping and develop talent (you don;'t have to be #1 but it may help - wont knock Bama or Jawja for that). Our first Championship runs were built on about 15/16th ranked classes. Maybe a little help from our 9th ranked 2015 class defensive studs. Thus you have to take talent and develop it, both athletically, mentally and spiritually. Shesh, the amount of development out of the 2014-2016 was redonkulous.

2016 was ranked 11th. Our 2017 class was considered to be as "low" as 16th nationally and 3rd in the ACC. We still got Amari, Tee, ETN, etc out of it. Even in 2018, we "only got" Ross, Kenderick, XT, Carman, and TL... and we were ranked 7th overall.

Looking forward, I think we are definitely building better and the future is bright.
