Gamecock TE Nick Muse (Tanner's brother) spoke today about missing out on playing Clemson this year and said "Clemson is basically a good SEC team and we play good SEC teams week in and week out."
He actually said that...
In other news, Muse is out this week. Tests came back positive for having delusions

Yes, week in and week out they lose to "good" SEC teams like Tennessee (2 wins & 5 blowout losses), Ole Miss (who only plays 6 guys on defense it seems), and Mizzou (with only 53 players).
Man I'm not sure how they can even field a team with that gauntlet of a schedule they have played so far.

being a mouthy ignoramus is a prerequisite for playing at uof6c.
Flake Bentley wrote the requirements and everyone else follows it.

though it is a very inaccurate statement he made, I would have to hope he just said it to razz his brother and Clemson fans.

I think he actually gives a pretty good interview and doesn't really hold back what he is thinking so I am guessing you are right.
A week or two ago he called out the coot fan base for being a bunch of whining and complaining "Karens" that don't know how to act when everything isn't to their liking.
If Clemson fans think back, Tanner had some pretty good one-liners in his time at Clemson as well.

had other options was because of his resentment towards Clemson. He was considered the better athlete of the two growing up and won a state title.
He wanted a Clemson offer but didn't get it and then expected Clemson to take him as a transfer when he became the best player on the field at Bill and Mary. But, as we know, Clemson doesn't take portal transfers unless there is a specific situation.
When Nick entered the portal he had a few D-1 choices, but USuC was the closest to his home and it would spite his brother..so he chose to join the losers.
