However I don't think it should be automatic disqualification.

Things happen in full speed contact. But now a kid has to sit and watch his team feeling useless

Kids have gotten into bad habits with poor tackling fundamentals. The only way they will learn is to make a statement. It’s just as much for his safety as the opponent. But everyone wants to be on ESPN top 10.
