He is not emerging anymore. Has played fantastic this year. A deep threat who makes the 50/50 catches every time.

It’s contract year for Powell. He realizes if he wants the next level, this is the last hurrah. He could have been playing like this all along.

Its been super satisfying to see him finally play up to his potential. Hopefully we can get Ladson and Ngata back healthy within the coming weeks and have a extremely potent and dangerous wide receiver corp that will take some pressure off the run game.

Possibly not a win vs. BC if Cornell hadn't had a big game.

Hopefully he has earned a shot at the NFL. He's been a steady player and has waited for his time to shine. He's making the best of it!!

Reminds me of T.O. (without the drama).

Powell has played like a real stud. I hope he continues. We need him.

I did not see this coming at all. Glad to be wrong.

As his confidence grows no reason his nfl future can’t as well

Hoping you go out like a lion and for the right reasons. But then I hope you get rewarded in a huge way. Very impressed with how you’ve stepped up this year.

I think he could be the next Jaron Brown in the league...nothing flashy but a mainstay for a while.

necessarily all the injuries to first string WRs but the fact that 2nd string QB got to play as starter. DJ and Powell probably had a good connection and trust factor playing consistently as #2s. I could see TLaw not having that same connection with Powell and overlooking him on some downs while DJ has that relationship.
But either way, no matter the reason for his recent impact, I hope it continues. I have always liked Powell. Hope he found his niche.
