We may have been trying to burn some time off the clock. Dabo even made a comment about TE9 maybe scoring too soon. But it's hard to take the chance on getting cute and hanging out on the 5 to burn another 40 seconds off the clock when you've got a sure 6 & XPA there for the taking.

I saw that also. But TL went thru his progressions, got to Amari, and BANG! Announcers noted how he worked from left to right. Who knows, if he had gone to Higgens for the score and left more time on the clock that tOSU might have used a different strategy and - well who knows.

I guess Jeff Scott will be back for the LSU game? Must be nice to take a new job and immediately get three weeks off.
