This election fraud stuff

is exhausting. I am completely sick of it and maybe that is what the left is trying to do, a death by thousand paper cuts type of deal, but my Lord, I am 100% ready for this sheet to be over. I cannot watch the news or look at Twitter or anything without it just being hammered into you every 3 seconds. I follow a lot of Left sites too and they are just as bad about fanning the flames.
The stop the steal crowd is not who I am, just like most of you are not ANTIFA guys. Its all really preposterous.

Agreed, but the issue is that POTUS is still saying it.

And a majority of Republicans believe it.
So it's news.

It's been over for weeks. It's nutty Trump supporters that keep it going. The rest of us have moved on. Biden is the next POTUS. There is no massive fraud. Talk to Fox News and Alex Jones.

Trump, his legal team, and several Republicans are pushing this idea of fraud non-stop... and you're NOT blaming them?

Exactly. Extremely odd. Dems have nothing to do with it.

yeah, I just read the title ad scanned too fast. I thought he was acting as if the Dems were part of the election fraud theory still going. My fault. I am making breakfast at the same time.

There is a distinct group of folks arguing voter fraud (Trump supporters, led by Trump himself). Of course, a sitting president making such claims is going to be newsworthy (even if, or maybe especially because, it is a dangerous argument), and as such it's perfectly normal for it to be discussed and reported upon. But, if for some reason, the media decided not to report the claims in an attempt to let them die, then that plays directly into the "media controlled narrative" argument being thrown around by those same Trump supporters.
Just can't see how there's anyone to blame in this "election fraud" fiasco other than the folks making the baseless claims (and that includes Trump himself).

I keep saying this - there are 2 biases in news reporting: sensationalism & laziness.
Reporters have to report on something - or they lose their jobs. And they have to report on something that gets plenty of views/clicks. That leads thenm to write the easiest stories and the most attention grabbing ones.
In a free enterprise system, we get the quality of news that we demand. Unfortunately we continue to respond to these two biases, so we get whjat we ask for.

The Dmes aaren't as bad at fanning the flames. It's not even ballpark close. There aren't any major lib websites fanning flames. The extreme sites that have big followings are on the right. Libs just use MSM generally. Trumptards use nutty sites as regular news. It's pretty one sided at the moment.

Manac,
Let's remember that we are not extremists when we disagree about political issues. There is common ground - a place to discuss and arrive at a consensus.

the con-man-in-chief really could make this 'disappear'
he is the one fanning the flames
if he had accepted reality, it would have never been more than a far-fringe issue

The President is out there undermining the credibility of US elections, he's gone as far as retweeting calls to arrest Brian Kemp or impose Martial law, and the best you can do is finger wag the MSM for covering it too much.
