WATCH: Fake field goal failed vs. NC State

by - Assoc. Editor -

Clemson went for a fake field goal in the second quarter against North Carolina State on Saturday afternoon.

During the play, Will Swinney dropped the ball before really securing the ball to run for the first down. It was a pretty decent call but obviously the execution wasn't there on that play.

NC State ended up getting the football at Clemson's 16-yard line.

Clemson is still up 14-0 with 5:41 left in the first half.
