if it were not for his dad? Is his talent NFL level? I didn’t watch Colorado any but 1-7 against ranked teams is pretty telling.

Yeah he has way more than enough talent and has the talent to get drafted much higher. He came into a program that had nothing and did a great job. That 1-7 is meaningless.

Those two have nothing to do with each other and yes that stay is meaningless considering the situation he walked into. If you want to talk about his Dad being the only coach he he had had, then that is a different topic. As far as that topic goes, it will be interesting to see how he does with a different coach. Will he take the criticism well? Maybe he does and he learns a lot more and shines? Time will tell. He has the talent to be in the NFL. How good he can be, nobody knows.

told certain teams not to draft him if they weren't ready to change their franchise and culture. Who wants drama in locker room all the time?

Yes, he’s realistically a 3-4 round pick all of the drama led to his fall more but I don’t understand the initial hype about him being a top 5 pick.

he led the fbs in accuracy. Like 75 % 3rd in touchdowns

As far as talent, I think the Browns got a steal. I could see him being like a Kirk Cousins good. Not great, but really good.

Remember what a "great" quarterback Todd Ellis was when he had Sterling Sharpe and Ryan Bethea to throw to? How did his professional career work out?
