He did make it in the pros, but he’s had 20 carries for 50 yards this year. To be able to compete for national championships, a college team needs to have at least two, maybe three NIL contract running backs who are upper echelon for the college game.
Unless someone is a first round draft pick, the college money should be better than the pro money at least for one year

I think the couple of injuries Shipley had played into his decision to turn pro. RB is a position that takes a lot of hits and susceptible to injury. Look at Mafah.
